Europe is currently planning the expiration of the RoHS 6c exemption on June 30, 2027, which is steering the industry toward the use of alloys containing less than 0.1% lead. However, extension requests have been submitted by the industry, and a possible extension remains under consideration depending on the decisions of the European Commission.
We therefore strongly recommend that our customers contact our technical and sales teams now in order to best anticipate this development and secure their future transitions and projects.
